FINALLY, that was a lot of work. Designing the icon art wasn’t too bad, but it was still a shit ton of work. What was really difficult is getting it to work in-game, and I don’t mean connecting the API, I mean figuring out how to detect things that you wouldn’t normally be able to detect.
To anyone wanting to do something like what I did (release a game on Newgrounds that’s also playable on Scratch)–don’t, it’s a nightmare. This is just a final update for Beta 2, I don’t even think it made the game much better.
The third beta I’m also just doing for fun and practice, but that one will use custom extensions and code that Scratch doesn’t have. In other words: Beta 3 will be better.
Also, about everything else I have left to do, it’s mostly just polish and testing. So I’ll see you all soon!
